What is the best place to find online web development/maintenance projects without any prior membership fee?

hi,
I believe it will be difficult to use any of the big names like rentacoder.com, guru.com, getafreelancer.com and so on. They all start from the idea that the ‘bidders’ (people bidding on projects) should pay a fee. That will assure the people asking for bids that the bidders are serious.
If you don’t want to invest time and money there, you can try to build your personal network, but that will take time and energy. For instance on yahoo.answers
I work for a company that does .net work. Mail me your coordinates and maybe we can get some projects running in the future.
